This is a vintage champagne cooler. An English, ceramic decorative ice bucket or planter, dating to the mid 20th century, circa 1950. Pleasingly decorative in the traditional blue and white manner Displays a desirable aged patina and in good original order Distinctive celadon-esque hues accentuate the ceramic ground Profusely decorated with with striking, cobalt blue classical scenes Interior graced with matching print to the sides and bottom Pair of stout handles at each end to aid ease of carrying Substantial in weight at 6.98kg (15.38 lb) Printed mark to base for Regency Ironstone This is a charming vintage champagne cooler, with a generous proportion and mass, ideal for use as a table centrepiece or as a decorative planter.
