Hand Painted Rosenthal Bavaria Pink Roses Footed Demitasse Cup & Saucer w Gold Rim A lovely hand painted small tea cup or demitasse cup by Rosenthal Bavaria. The set features a scattered pink rose pattern on the body with pink rose garland and greenery at the top and bottom. Gold daubs decorate the handles, with a gold band at the rims. The set is marked with the Rosenthal Bavaria mark used as early as 1890 and also has an unusual green eagle mark hand painted on the base of the items. I believe this is a decorator's mark. Very good condition with no damage. The saucer has a dark firing spot on the underside. The saucer measures 4.75 inches diameter. The cup sitting on the saucer is 2.25 inch height.
