Hand Painted Rosenthal Bavaria Pink Roses Tea Set w Gold Quatrefoil Shape A lovely hand painted quatrefoil shape tea set by Rosenthal Bavaria. The set features a scattered pink rose pattern on the body with pink rose garland and greenery at the top and bottom. Gold daubs decorate the handles and finials with a gold band at the rims. The set is marked with the Rosenthal Bavaria mark used as early as 1890 and also has an unusual green eagle mark hand painted on the base of the items. I believe this is a decorator's mark. Sugar bowl lid has a chip on the underside rim and a faint crack on the lid. See photos 10 & 11. Teapot has a faint small hairline crack on the bottom. No other issues. The set displays beautifully and is fully functional. Gold details and pink enamels are in lovely condition! The teapot measures 4 inches height. Spout to end of handle is 7.5 inches. The sugar bowl measures 4 inches height. Handle to handle is 5.5 inches. The cream pitcher measures 4.25 inches height. 4.5 inches from spout to end of handle. Beautiful set!
