ROSENTHAL TEA SET, TEAPOT, CREAMER, SUGAR, PRETTY PINK ROSES MADE IN GERMANY MCM This “item” is a set of 3 PIECES (TEAPOT, CREAMER, and SUGAR BOWL) made by ROSENTHAL in BAVARIA (GERMANY). The bottom of each piece says EMPIRE, but that is not the name of the pattern. Rosenthal named the shapes of their china, and also some of the patterns of design that go on the china. Empire, in this case, is the name of the shape and the pattern is unknown (at least unknown to me). In any case, it is really pretty, and I also may have matching teacups and saucers for sale separately. The creamer does seem to be very large for the set and it is almost as tall as the finial on the teapot. All of these pieces are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, flakes, or other defects. Please ask questions before bidding or purchasing.
