VTG Tea Set 1940s ROSENTHAL Selb Germany Pompadour Teapot, Sugar, Creamer, 6 Tea Cups and 6 Matching Saucers Vintage Rosenthal Selb GermanyPompadour #6 printed on the back of each piece I believe this was made in 1944 but not positive. Looked for this pattern with no available Comes with a Tea Pot which the lid is glued down Sugar Bowl which the lid is glued down because she was afraid she would Creamer 6 Tea Cups with Matching Saucers - One tea cut has a small chip please view photo Also last photo is where I came to find the year I believe they were manufactured - 1944 Cream colored base with Brown/Tan around the edges and silver accents design under it with hand painted floral design. Markings on the bottom state: Rosenthal Selb-Germany Pomadour 6 Approximate Dimensions: Saucers 5 inches across Cups 3 inches wide without the handle and 2 inches tall Teapot 9 inches across from spout to handle Creamer is 4 inches tall Sugar is 4 1/2" tall and 6 1/2" wide including handle I am in my 60's and these were handed down to me from my grandmother. These pieces are in very good condition with only the chipped tea cup and the lids to the sugar and teapot were super glued down because they thought they would fall off and break. Been stored in a china cabinet for decades and have not been thoroughly detail cleaned/polished. Comes from a smoke free home
