Framed picture Winter Warm-up by David Wright Three Westland Lysanders of No.277 Squadron on detachment to a snow-covered temporary location. This squadron operated as an air-sea-rescue unit based at Stapleford Tawney, Essex. Its Lysanders covered the busy area between south-east England and Northern France over which large numbers of RAF fighters and bombers operated. They gave excellent service to downed aircrew.
